2017 show Timeline
November 17, 2016: (Thursday)
Complete applications (printed or electronic versions), accompanying materials, and nonrefundable application fees must be received online by 11:59 pm.
Early December 2016 Jury Meets
December 12, 2016 Notification of acceptance will be mailed or emailed to artists.
February 17, 2017 Artist packets containing price tags, name tags, marketing materials and tickets mailed.
February 22, 2017 Printed marketing materials (posters, postcards, handbills) available for artist pick-up at the Buckman Elementary School office (320 SE 16th Ave., Portland).
March 10, 11 & 12, 2017
Artists deliver accepted artwork to Buckman Elementary School. The school will be open Friday evening, March 11th, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, and Saturday morning, March 12th (on approval), from 8:30am to 9:45am for setup. Layout assignments will be posted on the website a week before the show.
March 12 & 13th, 2017 Buckman Art Show & Sell
Saturday, March 11th: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm ($4 suggested donation; artist and one guest are free)
Sunday, March 12th: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm ($4 suggested donation; artist and one guest are free)

March 12th Show take-down from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Artists must be present from 4:00 pm onward, until they have packed up and removed their artwork from the school building. School building will be locked at the conclusion of take-down. If an artist cannot arrive at the school by 4:00 pm, they are requested to call (503) 501-9008 or email artshowandsell[@]gmail.com to make alternate arrangements.
April 2017 Checks mailed to artists no later than 30 days after sale.
